When my mother heard that I was selling bamboo towels she got a little concerned. "Are they scratchy?" "Are they soft?" "What are they like?" These are the questions I was faced with. We are excited that we will be adding a new line of products over the next two weeks.

What are they?

Bamboo kitchenware! This includes bamboo cutting boards, and bamboo silverware tray, and other kitchenware products made from bamboo.

We think you will be as excited about these new products as we are. The more items around the house that can be replaced with bamboo, the more interest will grow in bamboo, and the lower prices will become due to more competition, and the better we treat our environment.

We will put up a post when we are finished adding these products to our "shelves."

It may seem a bit unusual for a business to be so open about what is going on, but if you have viewed our corporate website, Anax Enterprises LLC, then you are already familiar with the type of business we want to be.

The SSL certificate has been installed, and we are getting ready to set up the shipping schedule. Since our products come from all around the United States, it is a bit of a challenge to make sure that the shipping amounts are correct for each of the products.

After the internal tasks are taken care of we will begin working on a Google AdWords campaign. We want everyone to know about the wonderful, renewable products we have available.

We're very excited about being able to offer these products for two reasons.

First, we are excited because these are renewable products. I am not a scientist, so I won't even pretend to say I know anything about global warming. However, I am a business person, and from a business perspective it just makes sense to use products derived from sources that don't require a long wait time to replenish those resources. The faster the resources can be replenished the greater the supply. When supply is plentiful it causes prices to stay low, and that is good for everyone.

Secondly, they are great products! Bamboo t-shirts, towels, sheets, and bathrobes are soft and comfortable. Bamboo lamps are elegant and stylish. Bamboo floor mats are a great way to keep your entry ways clean and prevent them from getting all scuffed up.

We are very excited about our up coming launch date of May 15th.

One of the projects we are currently working on is SSL. Although having SSL isn't really necessary in our case currently because PayPal and Google checkout are available and supply their own SSL security, there are still some membership areas such as purchase history and address information during checkout that we believe should have the added protection of SSL.

We believe we have a good start on bamboo derived products that everyone can enjoy, but we will continue to add more products as we move forward.

One product category that I am especially excited about is the bamboo lamps. These are hand crafted bamboo lamps made by artists in Asia. Since each lamp is hand crafted with loving care each lamp will have its own uniqueness.

Another great category is the bamboo t-shirts. 70% bamboo and 30% organic cotton; these t-shirts are comfortable!
